Custom manufacturing enables exceptional design flexibility. By customizing braid density during manufacturing, we can engineer variable flexibility along the length of the tube creating structures that transition from stiff to increasingly flexible where needed. Tensile strength and elongation characteristics can be further controlled through the addition of longitudinal members, improving strength while minimizing stretch. Multi-layer reinforced constructions also allow different materials to be combined within a single tube, such as a lubricious inner liner paired with a more flexible topcoat. Reinforced tubing is typically supplied cut to length, though bulk delivery options are available depending on the design.
