New England Tubing doesn’t just work alongside New England Wire – we grew out of it. Long before New England Tubing was formed, New England Wire was already playing a critical role in the medical industry where they had been manufacturing medical cables and scope braids for decades. As minimally invasive procedures advanced and medical device designs became more complex, it became clear that tubing needed the same level of precision, customization, and engineering focus as wire and cable. In 2001, New England Catheter was established as a dedicated subsidiary of New England Wire to expand on those growing medical tubing demands. In 2018, we rebranded ourselves as New England Tubing Technologies to better represent our vast array of products and services.
Today, the shared DNA of New England Wire and New England Tubing shows up everywhere. By being co-located with New England Wire, New England Tubing has direct access to a broad network of shared resources, including engineering teams, quality systems, testing laboratories, and in-house tooling and fabrication shops. For our customers, that translates into faster development, deeper expertise, and smarter solutions from day one.
Customers also gain a powerful supply-chain advantage. New England Wire’s purchasing strength and extensive raw material inventory support improved availability, cost stability, and faster response times – especially for custom and technically demanding programs.
The result? Better collaboration, faster development, stronger designs, and superior performance tubing.
