New England Catheter was officially founded as a separate company and subsidiary of New England Wire in October of 2001. While we had been manufacturing a variety of medical braids, scope braids, and custom components for the medical industry under the New England Wire name for many years, the increasing demand signaled it was time for New England Catheter to stand on its own.
As the custom medical tubing business continued to grow and demand increased dramatically, in 2010 we cut the ribbon on 13,000 sq. feet of newly remodeled manufacturing space dedicated exclusively to New England Catheter. This new space was designed to comply with the new and growing demands of the medical tubing industry which included environmentally controlled manufacturing spaces and advanced extrusion technologies.
Fast forward to 2018 when we officially changed our name to New England Tubing Technologies in order to better represent our wide array of manufacturing capabilities and product offerings. At this point we had moved well beyond catheter shafts and medical braids with our capabilities extending to hybrid tubing configurations, eTubing®, complex multi-lumen geometries, and a wide variety of value-added enhancements and assembly services.
As we look back over the past 25 years, we are proud of the multi-faceted manufacturing company we have become and look forward to delivering new and innovative advanced tubing solutions for the most demanding applications of today, and the future.
